Madhur bhandarkar is a worried man these days. The film maker's yet to be released Heroine has lead actress Kareena Kapoor Lighting up cigarettes, and according to the new dictate by I & B ministry, every time an actor takes a puff, the scene should carry an anti smoking disclaimer-- the statutory warning, cigarette smoking in injurious to health. "Kareena is seen smoking in 50 percent of my film and if we were to put a disclaimer every time she smokes, it would be jarring for the audience.
I am trying to meet the censor broad and request them to put the warning only at the beginning of the film," said an anxious bhandarkar. heroine which traces the highs and lows of a Bollywood actress will release on September 21.
