Amir Khan’s new role as the conscience of the society, courtesy his show, Satyameva Jayate, is being used by some local politicians to promote them .we spotted a hoarding featuring the actor and two local politicians at a bandra junction-Mumbai. The Hoarding in question on behalf of the Hind Foundation wasn't too fancy and large compared to the hoardings of his show all over the city, but it is being noticed just as well.
Aamir's spokesperson said, “No one from hind foundation (the party) got in touch with us and no kind of official communication was done with the producers of the show or the channel. We haven't sent any legal notice to them yet."But swift action was followed and the doarding was quickly down. Aamir’s team is quicker than we thought.
Meanwhile, Aamir has found unexpected support from renowned writer, pet and lyricist javed akhtar. The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has demanded an apology from action Aamir Khan for sending a "Wrong message about the medical community in his programme Satyamev Jayate.but lyricist javad Akhtar doesn't approve of it and calls it a sick" decision.
"The Indian Medical association wants Aamir to apologise for exposing corruption in their profession. That is really sick, " Akhtar posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.
After highlighting social issues like female feticide and dowry, Aamir, in the fourth episode of his show, put the spotlight on healthcare and malpractices in the medical profession.
Reacting to the episode, an umbrella body of 21 medical institutions. Wednesday asked the actor to apologies.
"It is not Aamir khan but some immoral dishonest greedy and corrupt doctors who are insulting the medical profession and many honest doctors," wrote Akthar.
