The Trailers of Reema kagti's Talaash have been doing the rounds for a while now. The makers are also planning to shoot a promotional video with Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee, who from the main cast of this film. The video will be shot on a set created in one of the mumbai studios in a three-day schedule from July 27-29 but it will reveal more about the film. Basco-Caesar have been roped in to choreograph this Ram sampath composition. 

One of the most awaited films this year, Talaash is a thriller co-produced by excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan June 1 release, it will now hit this screens on November 30

Sequel Of "No Entry " Starring As Tenth Heroine Bipasha Basu

Anees Bazmee says he is considering roping in Bipasha Basu as the 10th actress for no Entry Mein Entry, the sequel to the 2005 comedy film.
"We are consideirng Bipasha for a prominent role in the film, but nothing hsa been finalised yet," Bazmee told."In the first film, her role almost came to an end. So we are thinking how to cast her in this film," he added. Earlier, the director had said there will be nine ladies playing key roles in No Entry Mein Entry. But if Bipasha comes on board, it will be a total 10 females.
"if Bipasha enters, there will be total 10 leading ledies, while we are still in talks with the rest nine actresses and nothign has been finalised yet.In next 10 to 15 days, we will decide the leading ladies," he said.

Not Time For Zanjeer 2 Sequel : Arjun Rampal

Actor Arjun Rampal is no longer part of Apoorva Lakhia's remake of Zanjeer. he was earlier slatd to essay the part of sher Khan, played by pran in the 1973 orginal, but date hassles played Spoilsport."Arjun Rampal is not doing the film. He had some date issues so he could not do the film," Lakhia told.
The role was reportedly first offered to sanjay dutt first offered to sanjay dutt proached for it. But lakhia dismissed it as mere speculation."It's all media specaulation. we never considered anyone else other than arjun for his role. we have not yet decided who will be replacing Arjun in the film. Vikram Bhatt Calls it the most challenging scenes for an actress,while Esha gupta who shot the scene, says it was the way Vikram prepared her for it that madeis easy for her to enactit Raaz 3 has nail-biting sequence where about 800 flying cockroaches attack Esha Gupta. " Vikram has warned me from the beginning about the scene. He had explained how he would release the cockroaches and how they would sit on my eyes, go into my nose, hair and clothes and I had to try and ward them off. At first I did feel repulsed at the thought but slowly, I conditioned myself. I recalled the participants of Fear Factor and how they dealt with these creepy, Crawling insects and consoled myself. Throughout the 60-70 days of shooting, Vikram would tell me prepare myself for the sequence and face the challenge," says Esha who plays an actress in the Film.

But on the days of the shoot, Vikram told Gupta that she wouldn't have to deal with real cockroaches on the sets. She has to imagine that she was attacked by roaches and the special effects team would create them on screen "Of course, I was relieved, I had mentally prepared myself. Expressing the fear and horror without them became very easy for me. Vikram is a actor's director," says the actress.

According to Vikram it is a never-before seen sequence. "And with the 3D effect, they will be stunned" he said. Besides gupta, Raaz 3 also star Bipasha Basu and Emraan Hashmi and release on September 7.

Movie "Chakravyuh" Ready For Trailer In Cinema : Prakash Jha

Director Prakash Jha, Known for hard-hitting social dramas, is ready with his next venture. The trailer of his next film Chakravyuh about the complex Naxalite problem was unveiled recently at Cinemax Versova (Mumbai) and has received an enthusiastic response the video  already has 246,648 views on Youtube says Jha. While Jha's Aarakshan, a film on reservation of seats for backward sections of india an the privatistion of education, that released last year did not set the box-office on fire, he is topic about the fate of chakravyuh, yet another complex film.

"The two friends in the film. Jha, who has the script since 2003 turned it into a movie because he had a year's time between Aarakshan and his next film Satyagraha with Ajay Devgn. Movie "Himmatwala" Released on Youtube Live With of Mahurat

For the first time in the history of Indian cinema, the producers of Himmatwala telecast the film's Mahurat live from Ramoji Rao studios, Hyderabad. Director Sajid Khan said, "I wanted to reach out to as many people as possible nad involve them form the very first scene. That is why we decided to telecast the Mahurat live on YouTube. 

This is the first time that a digital platform is being used by anyone in India for such an event. The Film stars Ajay Devgn, Tamannah, Paresh Rawal, Mahesh Manjrekar, Zarina Wahab, Adhyayan Suman and Leela Jumani. 

It has music by Sajid-Wajid and screenplay is written by Sajid Khan and Farha-Sajid. The Mahurat was attended by Vas hu Bhagnani and Siddharth Roy Kanpur.  

Movie "Joker" Releasing With Hi-Tech Animations

Shirish Kunder's Film Joker with its aliens and replate with visual effects has roped in 30 international technicians to showcase the promos of his film. Admits the director, "I am currently making a second trailer of Joker which will be full of visual effects and things that we haven't disclosed so far. Prime Focus is also working with me and they have branches in New York and London. Technicians from those centers are making sure this tralier is of inernational standards. The idea is to do something different and woo audiences." The will be telecast a week before the release the film.

Joker, which is jointly produced by Shirish and Farah Khan's Hari Om Production and Disney UTV, stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. The film is slated to release on August 31.

Amitabh Bachchan's Debut Hollywood Film Meyer Wolfish

Mega Star Amitabh bachchan says he has not charged anything for his appearance in director Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby.
"The Role is small, hardly of a minute. Baz Luhrmann was touring India couple of years ago...going all around the country, he dropped in at my office with a friend, who did some painting work for me. we just had a casual conversation and he left, " Big B told reporters.
"Years and a half ago he called me and said he has a role for me which he said was not worthy and said if i will do it. I readily agreed. As a gesture it is not remunerative. I have not charged anything. I did it just for a gesture,"added the Indian superstar who will be seen Meyer wolfish in the movie.

A book-to-screen adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald's bestseller of the same name, the film has Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire in the lead roles. The film is scheduled for December release.
"My experience with Baz, Leonardo Dicaprio, Tobey and Carey was wonderful. Many film have been made on this... this is the third edition... huge amount of detailing, research has been done. their whole system of working is so organized and it is a great pleasure to be working with them," said Amitabh about his debut Hollywood film. Akshay Kumar's Another Remake South Movie "Pokkiri Raja"

For the first time in this 21 year long acting career, actor Akshay kumr will have no leading lady to romance on screen in his upcoming film, a south remake. The movie is remake  of Malayalam film Pokkiri Raja and will be directed by Anthony D' Souza, who made Akshay Kumar Starrer Flot film Blue.

The 2010 Malayalam Film Featured Mammooty, Prithviraj and Shriya Sharan in the lead. The Hindi Version, eigther to be titled Naam Hai Boss or Boss, will see Akshay stepping into the shoes of Mammooty.

"it is for the first time that there will be no heroine opposite Akshay Kumar in the film. He is Playing the role of Mammooty, But there will be two young new-comers- one hero and heroine," sources close to the project told. Actor Mithun Chakraborty hs also been roped in for the project/sources added.

The writes of the Hindi Version, Sajid-Farhad, are all charged up for the project. "We are writing the screen-play and dialogues for this film.The basic plot... soul of this movie remain more or less same. But we will definitely make  lot of changes considering the presence of Akshay and the audience,"Sajid-Farhad Said. Music Directors : G V Prakash and Gaurav Dagaonkar : Lyricist : Shirish Kunder; Singers : Sunidhi Chauhan, Adarsh Shinde,Udit Narayan, Daler Mehndi, Sonu Kakkar And Shweta Pandit  

Joker marks the first Bollywood outing for music maestro AR Rahman's nephew G V prakash Kumar. He has composed five tracks in the album, and one song is composed by Gaurav Dagaonkar. All songs have been penned by the movie's director, Shirish Kunder.
The album gets a Jump-start with Kafirana (I want Fakht you). Composed by Dagaonkar, the item number, which has  Chitrangda Singh giving a rare glimpse of there dance moves, has a lot of dhol beats and a catchy tune. The lyrics are a mix of Hinglish (Hindi & English) and Marathi, and giving them voice are Sunidhi Chauhan and Adarsh Shinde. They have done justice to this peppy composition.
Next on the playlist is Jugnu. Crooned by Udit Narayan , it ends up remaining the listener of his song Yeh Taara Woh taara fom Swades. However, if the two are compared, the compostion of Jugni is equite ordinary, and it fails to make an impact. Narayan has maintained his charm with teh vocals and has been supported well by chorus and whistling. Good for a one-time lsiten, but nothing beyond that.

The next number Sing Raja. Folk has been mixed well with electronic sounds. Singers Daler Mehndi and Sonu Kakkar allure that listen tener with their energetic vocals, which blend well. they repeat the term Nachl le in many languages during the song. but a high point in this song is a flute loop. Overall, the number fails miserably in the lyrics department, but this composition by GV prakash is definitely engaging.

It is followed by Yeh Joker, another peppy number in sync with the mood set by Kafirana, but now here close to it in terms of enjoyment. it is heavily dependent on Sonu Nigam's musical might, but even he fails to make it pleasant. Singer Shweta Pandit and the chorus too are a drag. The track is vigorous during certain intervals but is unable to take off fully thanks to the run-of-the-mill lyrics.

There is a ray of hope with tears of joker and it delivers with its depressing, yet appealing sound. The flute has been used brilliantly along with the tabla and sitar. with this one, one family gets a taste of the musical capabilities of G V prakash. This one is a clear winner and the best track of the album.

The album rounds off with another instrumental Alien arrival. The saxophone is just enchanting and there are some fine beats used in its build up. it would be interesting to watch how it is intersperse in the movie as the sound of it suggests it sound have a lot of visual appeal.

Overall, the album is good mix of sounds, but it fails in terms of lyrics. Go for it purely for the instrumental track. (IANS)

Sonakshi Sinha, Who is seen matching steps with Prabhu Deva in the Song Go go Govinda, says she had to raise the bar to keep up with Dance uru Prabhu Dheva.
Prabhu Sir ,Around, it's a whole different ball game. When he is choreographing, it's fine as he is there to guide you and tell you. But when he is dancing with you, he's such a good dancer, you have to raise the bar automatically," the 25 year old said.

Filmmaker Priyadarshan is set to take the audiences on another laughter ride with comic caper Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal, and says the movie is distinct. "Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal is a film with an identity of its own," Priyadarshan said in a statement. The movie features Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Shreyas Talpade, Asrani, Shakti Kapoor and Neeraj Vora.

Don't Compare Heroine And The Dirty Picture Movies : Madhur Bhandarkar

Kareena Kapoor says she is not trying to copy anyone in her forthcoming film  Heroine, the first trailer of which has raised inevitable comparisons with Vidya Balan's look in The Dirty Picture. 

In a way both films hit at the same subject- the fate, rise and fall of an actress. While Vidya scored a block- buster with The Dirty Picture, Kareena and Heroine Diector Madhur Bhandarkar Insist no comparisons must be made. "I am not getting into any body's shoes. I am very comfortable in my own and I would say that no one will get into mine either," Kareena Said. She also said that Heroine has nothing similar the Dirty Picture, and that it is "unfair" to compare the two. Pointing out the difference between the two films, Bhandarkar said, "I like the Dirty Picture. The film was about the rise of an item girl in the 1980s. Our film is more modern in its approach. The two films are very different and you cannot compare them. There have been so many films based on underworld. Also so many cop films have come like 'Singham' and 'Dabangg', but on one compares them. Then why are people comparing these two films," he added.

Heroine is not inspired by any one person, says Mahdur Bhandarkar, who is known for his realistic films like Fashion and Page3. the director was talking at the trailer launch of his film and was have played pivotal roles in the film. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, The film is about the ups and downs in the life of movie star.

"Heroine is not inspaired by any one person. The movie is about Mahi (Kareena) and herjourney towards stardom and the ups and downs that come with it, " he said

"I am not saying is not inspired by Hollywood and Bollywood, there is inspiration. I would say that 70 percent of it is realistic and 30 percent fiction. it is diffuclt to pin point one person on whom the movie is based, " he said.

Indian Government Lose Money In Coal Block Allotment

Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report tabled in parliament on friday said that private companies including Tata Steel, Essar Power, JSPL,Hindalco and Adani Power were likelying gain Rs. 1.86 lakh corer from coal blocks that were allocated them on nomination basis instead of competitive bidding, which will result in a loss to the national exchequer.\

The CAG said it has arrived at the estimates based on the average cost of production and average sale price of opencast mines of Coal India in the year 2010-11. Delay in introduction of the process of competitive bidding has rendered the existing process beneficial to the private companies.

Audit has estimated financial gains to the gains to the tune of Rs.1.86 lakh crore likely to accrue to private coal block allotes," The CAG report said. " The government could have tapped a part of this financial benefit by expediting decision on competitive bidding for allocation of coal blocks," the report said. 

It could accured to the national exchequer by operationalising the decision taken by years earlier to introduce competitive bidding for allocation of coal blocks, if added.

There was no specific criteria for allocation of coal blocks in the country till 1993, from 1993 onwards, Ministry of coal started awarding blocks to private parties for captive mining on recommendations of the inter-ministerial screening committee or through direct allocation. the concept of allocation of captive coal blocks through competitive bidding was first announced in 2004. However, the government is yet to finalise the modus operation of the mechanism. in the meantime, 194 coal blocks were allocated to different Government and Private parties up to March31 2011. The official Auditor said it is for strong opinion that there is a need for strict regulatory and monitoring mechanism to ensure that benefit of cheaper coal is passed on consumers". TO bring objectivity and transparency in the allocation and for tapping of a part of benefit for accruing to the allottees of  captive coal blocks, the CAG said the coal Ministry should "Urgently" work out modalities to implement the procedure of allocation of coal blocks captive mining through competitive bidding. the CAG also said coal India has suffered production losses to the tune of 116 million tonnes (MT) on account of delays in execution of new project.

Delays ranging from "one to 12 years in execution of 32 projects under different subsidiaries of CIL  entailed "loss of production by 115.958 MT" if said.

Barfi Movie Ready For Release On Right Date : Anurag Kashyap

Director Anurag Kashyap says he had decided to take ranbir Kapoor in Barfi ever before he started writing the script. Basu, who has directed film like gangster, Murder, life In a Metro and kites, says he did not have any one else in mind for the central protagonist in case Ranbir Would have Declined the film.

"When I started work on the film, it was on a blank slate. As I started moving ahead with the story, I realized that the only person who would fit into the role was Ranbir. All other characters, including that Priyanka, came in later, "Basu Said.

Ranbir is playing a deaf and mute young man in the film and the young star's character is influenced by Charlie Chaplin, who was also a favorite with his grandfather rajkapoor.

"The Chaplin influence was not there in the script when ranbir came on board. It is just that as we progressed, it was felt that certain scene would be elevated if ranbir got into the mode. There is silence in the film, something which is the core of it, and there is a Chaplin layer it as well. However, Rangier is not imitating Chaplin the film," Basu said.

The director says the first thing he explained to Ranbir was the film's title, which is also his tar’s name in the film. "I explained to him that the film's title was closed once it was realized that this was turning out to be a very sweet film. The name has definite relevance in the film; it is heard at a very important juncture in the film because of the way this sound is heard for the first time, “He added.

Director Madhur Bhandarkar has come out in the open about the controversy over Heroine trailer and says they did not mean to demean anyone. "We have censored it. It has been censored for Dubai and has been passed by the censor board. There are some people who have raised objections. But we did not mean to demean anyone, Dubai is my personal favorite city," the 43-year-old said.
In the film's Promo Kareena Kapoor who plays the lead role, says “You Media people should be writing scripts. If a heroine buys a car, it's gifted to her by a businessman. If she goes to LA (Los Angeles), she's getting plastic surgery done and, God forbid, if she goes to Dubai, you people make a rate card for her," Giving clarification over the dialogue, Bhandarkar said,”
